Our Philosophy

At Inner Blueprint Psychology, we believe that every individual has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. We strive to empower our clients to overcome challenges and achieve their goals through a collaborative and strengths-based approach.

Joanna Kirlagitsi, Registered Psychologist - MAPS

Master of Professional Psychology; Bachelor of Psychology (Honours); Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Joanna Kirlagitsi is a registered psychologist offering therapy and psychological assessments via secure telehealth for adults and adolescents.

Joanna holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Master of Professional Psychology, both from Western Sydney University. She brings extensive years of experience to her practice, working with diverse presentations. She actively engages in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with the latest research.

When she isn’t working, Joanna likes going on adventures, being out in nature, engaging in self-development, and enjoying wellness activities like infrared saunas and cryotherapy.

Her Approach

Her work is grounded in a holistic, evidence-based approach that goes beyond managing symptoms. Joanna supports individuals navigating a wide range of challenges and explores how they shape how they think, feel, and relate. What sets Joanna apart is her commitment to helping clients uncover the deeper roots of their distress. She integrates neuroscience, psychology, and values-based frameworks to understand each person’s unique inner world, how it was shaped, where it’s stuck, and what needs to change for them to live with more clarity and integrity.

Joanna’s integrative therapeutic approach acknowledges that no single framework can fully capture the complexity of human experiences. By drawing from CBT, ACT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques, she tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs, ensuring therapy is both structured and flexible. Cognitive and behavioural strategies (CBT & DBT) help clients develop practical coping skills and emotional regulation, while ACT encourages psychological flexibility and values-driven action. Her incorporation of psychodynamic principles allows for deep self-exploration, uncovering unconscious patterns and past influences that shape present struggles. At the same time, her use of solution-focused techniques helps clients identify strengths and actionable steps to move forward.

Joanna believes therapy isn’t about fixing people - it’s about helping them reconnect with who they really are. This perspective informs her work, where she helps clients reframe their struggles, develop self-awareness, and build a life that aligns with their values and strengths. Her deep curiosity and analytical nature inspire her to break down these complexities, while her empathetic and non-judgmental presence ensures that clients feel seen, validated, and encouraged to think deeply about their experiences.

Whether it’s exploring thought patterns, emotional regulation, past experiences, or existential questions, her approach is designed to be insightful, practical, and deeply transformative. Joanna’s goal is to go beyond traditional therapy by challenging conventional narratives and to equip individuals with the tools to achieve sustainable, long-term mental wellness. She empowers her clients to move beyond surface-level solutions and build a more meaningful life.

Her clients often describe the process as both confronting and liberating.

Our Mission

Our mission is to support people in coming back to themselves by helping them make sense of their struggles, unlearn the patterns that no longer serve them, and live in a way that feels real and aligned. We provide therapy and psychological assessments that go beyond surface-level fixes.

Our work is about depth, clarity, and honesty, understanding how your biology, environment, and lived experience have shaped you, and what needs to shift so you can move forward with intention.

At the core of it all, we believe therapy should help people stop just coping and start living in a way that actually feels like their own.

Our Values

Authenticity

Authenticity

Authenticity

We value honesty over appearances. This is a space where you can be real - messy, uncertain, angry, tired, without needing to perform or prove anything.

Compassion

Authenticity

Authenticity

You won’t be judged here. We approach every person with warmth, respect, and the understanding that there’s always a reason beneath the behaviour.

Depth

Authenticity

Integrity

We don’t just treat symptoms, we ask why they’re there. Therapy goes deeper because real change happens when you understand what’s driving the struggle.

Integrity

Collaboration

Integrity

We take your trust seriously. That means being clear, transparent, and committed to doing work that’s thoughtful, responsible, and aligned with your best interests.

Collaboration

Collaboration

Therapy is something we do together. You’re the expert on your life, we’re here to support, guide, and challenge you in a way that feels safe and respectful.
